Inspired by the mandrake plant, Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen of Annick Goutal have created Mandragore in the year 2005. 

Other than the notes of mandrake, there are notes of bergamot, black pepper, ginger, spearmint, star anise, boxwood, and sage leaf. Like other fragrances from Annick Goutal, this perfume is also made from natural ingredients. Immediately after application, the first note that comes to the fore is that of bergamot, but later scents of anise and ginger will appear.
